We use them in our 22 gal kitchen main waste basket and sometimes for grass and leaf bags.They have never failed me. No, you can't load them with bricks, but you might be surprised how sturdy they are. Our kitchen trash load has never leaked.At 6 cents per bag, you can't beat them with any brand name you will find at your local store.Maybe some of those more expensive brand name bags are stronger, but it's overkill IMO.I bought this box two years ago, and I am not halfway through the 500 bags.
